That is a tiny and powerful preamp, and it's cool Stanley's engineer can get through the TSA without it getting mangled.  What is that?  It's a gorgeous and awesome piece of hardware!  Is that a one off piece, or is it a prototype for future production?  Pretty dang cool.

Probably this one, Zut: http://club.alembicguitars.net/index.php?topic=425.0

There was some discussion within of making these a regular production item.

That's the one, Greg!  Thanks!  I heard one long note out of it in the previous video, and it was tectonic.  I cannot wait to see when the IN-2 comes around as a production model.  I don't mean to sound impatient as there is so much great stuff to choose from Alembic, and they are always at full capacity, but that thing sounds great, tubes or FET.

I'm going to have to take a cold shower and set aside my pennies, dimes, and Franklins because, like everyone else here, I will want one at some point.  Thanks!

Mica, any chance these will make it into production?  I would love one :)

The bass player's function, along with the drums, is to be the engine that drives the car... everything else is merely colours.

The sound of Alembic is medicine for the soul!

We do have a number of new products under development. So hopefully you will be able to get one, Rob! I don't have a timeline just yet for release. We are working with a new sheetmetal fabricator on their first job with us, and that will inform us more.

Please add me to that IN-2 list with Rob! Thanks!
I'm also still looking forward to an SF-2 once you settle on a fabricator...

DS-5s are coming first, then the rackmount stuff will follow soon after!
