Just wanted to share this little guitar w/ you all.  It's a Japanese market Kawai, similar to those basses, but the guitar version.  It was shipped over directly from japan, and recieved a brass bridge, W. German schallers, alembic strap buttons and a cool stars guitars / alembic tailpiece.  It has a very short scale 24.5" but it's got 24 frets.  Very nice sound from the pups and you can slap on it like a bass.  I'm happy w/ it.  The tailpiece was just a lucky find and the bridge went on w/ minor modification to the bridge...but none to the guitar.
