I'd like to get some views regarding string construction.  I was having a look around the Status website earlier today and it seems that they are now making strings.  Has anyone got any experience of these strings or something similar to these strings from a construction point of view?
 
ROUND-WOUND HEX-CORE STRINGS
As the name suggests, these strings have a round wrap over a hexagonal core. This produces a string with a conventional 'feel'. This is the preferred production method used by many string companies.
 
PREMIUM ROUND-WOUND ROUND-CORE STRINGS
These 'Premium Round-Core' strings are produced with both a round wrap and a round core. This design is more difficult to produce but results in a string with a more flexible 'feel' with a clearer tone which will last longer than any standard string.

I'm sure each manufacturer has their own outlook, but it's a fascinating read from the standpoint of just how many things go into it.
