Looks very Alembic, would a set of AXY/MXY slot in there??
You could fill the fret grooves and have it fretless

I hadn't thought of fretless...
If I fret it I'll have to figure out wether to use a hammer or a press for installing frets, I like the concept of a press...I hear a bag of buckshot under the neck will absorb most of the vibes from a hammer.I'll have to see how the masters do it.
