Solo bass recording

Here's a link to a recording of my solo bass arrangement of Maroon 5's 'Payphone'. Recorded on my 93 Alembic Stanley Clarke Deluxe. I do find that the Alembic is by far the best of my basses for recording this kind of solo arrangement, simply because of the clarity of the sound and the attack - it all gets a bit muddy if I try this on any other bass! And the short scale certainly helps with the considerable stretches that are often required when playing both melody and harmony at the same time on the bass.

Anyway, hope you like it: https://soundcloud.com/#karl-clews/payphone

Link just took me to sound cloud, but couldn't access the specific recording....
