My 3 fur babies, love them more than my basses!

From top to bottom: Mew Mew, Ger Li ("Clam"), and Banana

Sadly, Ger Li passed away on 5/22/2019 after losing a battle with pancraitis. He was only 4 years old. I miss him so much.  :-[

Yes, fur babies help us find ourselves.  :)

We are currently at 4 dogs and 3 cats.

Here's our Instagram profile, there are plenty of fur baby pictures. Zinnia hides often from the camera and Sweetie (new foster cat) has not made an appearance on the www. yet.

None for me anymore... as much as I'm gone it just wouldn't be fair to them, and too many predators where I live to leave one outdoors. I had one old cat for 18 years though, and just couldn't deal with stuff after that one was gone, so I adopted Slick. He was a great cat... a real sport. Had no vices, none of the guile or wiles one expects. He was extremely suspicious of ceiling fans, and I am too, so we understood each other. Alas, Slick found himself a better gig somewhere else. At least that's what I hope happened.

These days, I just throw the ball around for Mom and Dad's dog, Zelda.

This is Sedona, The Best Pup In The World; she was with us 14 years, but has been gone for 6 now.  After a lifetime keeping company with canines, I haven't gotten one since, as she was so wonderful I can't imagine another coming close.

This is our English Mastiff, Calo...or as he's known in the show circuit, GCH Lazy D's Ten Years Gone. I named him after my favorite Zep tune. He's barely two years old and already the #6 Mastiff in the country, on his way to Westminster 2020 if things keep going like this. Never had any interest in owning a show dog, but he was part of an unusual set of circumstances. We had to put down our 6 month old from Calo's breeder. They felt so badly, that they said we could have one of the puppies from their next litter. The only condition was that we had to let him be shown. So now we're living the "Best in Show" life!

That's a big boy! Very common with breeders to only place their pick-of-the-litter dogs in homes that agree to show them. Despite the unfortunate circumstances you lucked into a beautiful Mastiff, the way they took care of you indicates that they are a extremely reputable breeder. Go Calo!
