These have been very hard days for so many for many reasons over the last 20-odd months.

Yet I find myself optimistic and thankful. Give each other a break, count off an extra four bars for the other guy, and care about each other: We could all use it in one way or the other.

So, Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Festivus, Kwanzaa, Boxing Day, or whatever and however you celebrate this time of the year. Treasure your family, count your blessings, and keep an eye out for the so many who've been laid low by all this and offer a hand up when and where you can. I lived through some Bad Days, and wouldn't be here now if some folks hadn't offered me a hand up, so pass it on.
