Those in the UK (and perhaps beyond) will know that this past week has been our annual charitable fundraiser for Children in Need. This charity regularly raises 10's of millions of pounds for needy children whether they be poor or abused or whatever. I'm glad to say that this year I played a part in my office efforts, getting togther a scratch band of excellent musicians from amongst my colleagues, and playing a one hour set of standard covers in our staff canteen over lunch. We were pretty well received and no-one complained about the noise. The 'stage' was vaguely remeniscent of a Rush gig with the vending machines in the background. I played my trusty Mk Deluxe through my eden practise amp.

note the T'shirt I bought at the Giants dugout in SF :-)  As our office can get quite rowdy (not!) we drafted in a special bouncer...

All in all, over two days of cake bakes, tombolas and so-on we managed to raise over ?2000 which our company matches so the charity will be ?4000 better off.  Graeme

Great stuff Graeme and a great amount for a good cause.
It looks like your guitarist has an Ibanez artist guitar. I remember drooling over those in the city centre guitar shop years ago.

Good idea that was. Maybe I will suggest that depending on where I'm working next year.

Excellent job and a great idea, Graeme.
Nice to have a job with a sense of community.

Re the second picture; I hate it when the music police show up when I'm playing.

Hah! He's a big star wars fan Dave. He had the SW theme played at his wedding and has several other costumes including darth vader, C3Po and R2D2 although he's a big guy so I've no idea how he fits in the last one. At our gig he was seen playing air guitar on his rifle to Sweet Child of Mine.

Excellent work!  Thanks for the pictures.  Your bass looks awesome (t-shirt too)!  I especially LOVE the Ibanez Artist.  It looks like a 1981/82 AR300CS.  Y  U  M
