I just heard that Tom Magliozzi, the older of Click and Clack, the Tappet brothers has passed away.  Though not a musician, he was one of the most entertaining people I ever heard.  Car Talk has been a weekend staple for me for many years.  I suspect there are others around here who share my addiction.

Very sad. Sunday morning listening to their show was always fun. Infectious laugh echoes on . . .

A brilliant man.   Yesterday I heard Terry Groce ask Doug Berman if Tom & Ray had trouble being that funny week after week; he said no - becasue that's how they were every minute of every day.
The Lovely & Charming Mrs. Cowboy is not a car person, and would not miss them if she had a choice.
And theme music by David Grisman - how could you go wrong?
We'll miss you, Clack!

Will, Missem, & Howe.

My dad used to take our cars to their garage back in the day. They were hilarious long before the radio show ever started.

On Saturday, Ray did a tribute show to Tom and their mom was featured. Now we know where he got that famous laugh!
