So, our middle son is now at home all day, every day with his elder son - and is kind of losing it.  No prob - yesterday Nona & Granddude spent 2 hours on Zoom playing board games with the youngster to give Dad a little breathing space.  At one point he went to get another game, and was told (at that end) to pick up the ones that we'd played before he got out another one.
I asked, "Want me to grab my guitar and sing you a couple of songs while you clean up?"
"No."
"Why not??"
"Because you're a bad singer!"

Man, that's cold.  I mean, he's right - but he's 7; isn't he still supposed to in awe of me for a while yet???

Tom Ohmsen, recording engineer at Flat Five Studios here in Salem once dispensed this sage advice to me- "Everybody sucks to somebody." I can't remember to this day who we were talking about.  :D

~Gregory (who agrees, yeah... that was a little cold on Grand-dude.)  ;D

Hey, what does the kid know?  How many Dead shows has he gone to?  I bet he never saw Jerry!  And I bet he never even heard of Pete Best!   Keep singing.

hehehehe

Make him clean up the garage. Next time he will tell you that you sound like James Taylor, David Crosby, and Willie Nelson all rolled into one!
