Most of all, here's to our absent friends who have gone on to Fiddler's Green (an old cavalryman's saying for heaven).  They are sorely missed, and we all owe them a debt we can never repay.  That is, after all, what this day is all about.

You're right Alan, today is for the many who didn't make it (Fiddler's Green or Davy Jones's Locker). We get our day in November. By the way, congratulations on making it to 20!

My sincere thanks and gratitude to all those who served and are currently serving.
My dad volunteered  at 17 for WW2 both his brothers served in Europe. My Grandfather built barracks in the Bahamas. They came back. I benefit from the service of those brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Again my thanks.

Thanks will never be enough and I don't feel that there are words to provide the gratitude that is deserved. However, thank you is all I can say and I wish there was more that I could do.
You are not forgotten and will always be remembered, especially those that paid the ultimate price for all of our freedom.

A day of remembrance.  A day to shed tears for so many lives lost; and a day to look forward, full of hope, and of heart.
