I need a photo or drawing of the layout of the components,trans,caps,diode etc.Having just built one it is not as quiet as my 5r,I think this may be due to the layout

That's great,thanks Dave it shows the power tx at 45 degree's to the caps could be the problem.

Hey that's my DS5.  It turns out Guitar Center was wrong.  It did not work.  I had to send it to Alembic for repairs.
