Does anyone know whether Louis Johnson played / plays an Alembic?

Yes, though I don't think he played Alembic exclusively.  The only picture I've been able to find is this album cover:

I recall reading in Guitar Player some 20 years ago that he switched from Alembic to MusicMan because it had more bottom.
