I'm sorry but I cannot write correctly what I mean in english: j'esp?re que nous apprendrons ? relativiser nos petits probl?mes personnels d'accordage et d'?lectronique d?faillante face au drame japonais. Je pense ? vous et j'en suis tr?s pein?, m?me si l?chement je ne peux rien faire de concret.
Terrific:

Good to hear from Eiji and Toshiaki.  As others have mentioned, the enormity of the disaster is difficult to fully grasp.  My heart is with all of the people of Japan.

Glad that you and yours are safe, Eiji and Toshiaki.
Not just a bass, this is an Alembic!

The situation in Japan continues to worsen, dramatically.  The news at this hour has the catastrophe at the nuclear plant growing further out of control.

After the loss of life and devastation of the earthquake and tsunami, the ongoing nightmare at the nuclear plant weighs heavy on the heart.

I've been watching this closely as well, Dave.  Several explosions, and worst of all, trouble cooling the core. I spent a great deal of time as an undergraduate in the most powerful research reactor in the U.S. (just off the campus at Mizzou, where I still work).  My feelings are so mixed regarding the benefits and detriments of nuclear energy that I couldn't begin to sum them up here.  Needless to say, I'll be watching and hoping that the impact to human health and the environment is as minimal as possible.
