Hard to believe it's been 30 years.

I was going to work early in the morning when I heard the news, I was still at my parents and I woke my dad up to tell him..he was as shocked as I was.
I always wonder what his musical direction would have been if he was still around and could you envisage him being a judge on the X Factor??

I was 6 years old when this happened.  I remember it like it was yesterday (no bad Beatles pun intended).  I was already a rabid Beatles fan thanks to my father's fabulous record collection.  I couldn't understand why anyone would want to shoot him.  I still can't.

I was jamming at my friend's home basement studio.  During a break the phone rang - a friend from New York with the horrible news.  The only event I've ever experienced that was similar was the JFK assassination.  30 years?  Unbelievable!

Carpooling to work, saw the headline in a newspaper box.  The entire carful was pretty speechless.  30 years -- wow.
