Thanks for the offer Don, but I'm going to chill on the search for a while.

After several delays, my new glasses finally came in, but by the time they did I was 100 miles away on vacation... with an old pair of glasses from two prescriptions ago I might add - better than nothing, but not much.

It's only been a day, but these no-line bifocals are driving me nuts. Gotta' learn to move my head to look at stuff. It is amazing how much detail I've been missing though.

I got used to no line bifocals within a few days, but the first time you look down at stairs without moving your head is rather disorienting...enjoy seeing! I went on a reading binge when I got mine, which hasn't stopped...Tony.

Next time around, I'd highly recommend checking http://zennioptical.com . Glasses are pretty much a giant scam, with 80+% of all frames made by one company. Lens tech is no longer rocket surgery. Fully kitted out glasses, with progressives, are like $50. Single focus pretty much under $20.

Anybody here ever tried the Ibanez Artcore series hollow-body basses? I just became aware they do make a 5-string model.

(and the glasses are paid-in-full)
