Have you ever seen a double sided guitar like this?

or maybe a rotating necked bass

I wonder what Mica would say if she received a custom order like any of these. :-)

These didn't look nice on Reverb a few years ago, but the product line seems to have grown.

Still don't get the single neck double sided thing...https://busuyiguitar.com/en/

The rotating neck is......interesting; sort of a great answer to a question nobody was asking.  The ones you link to, with two separate necks on opposite sides of the body?  Likewise.

The ones with fretboards on both sides of one neck?  Well, I guess if you have no intention of playing in more than one position, it would only be mildly stupid - but even I - The World's Worst Guitarist, The King Of The Cowboy Chords - move up to the 7th fret sometimes.

Well shoot... now we can't troll her with it for an April Fools.  ::) ;D

I reckon she would always be glad to build someone two instruments fastened together side-by-side. BT-DT.

The clearance in first position on the 'flipped' neck seems awkward...

I'm thinking there has to be a way a righty and lefty could play this instrument at the same time.

Yet another creative mind banking on the well-known fact that some guitar players will spend money any sort of foolishness.........

All that stuff is pretty vanilla compared to the wild and wonderful world of Hans Reichel. He was a pioneer in thinking well outside the box.

And then there was the ever snickering daxophone.

He was a true treasure who passed way too early. Seeing him in person was a wonderful experience. He could express the entire range of humanity through his homemade instruments. I caught one show that was acoustic duets with Fred Frith that was probably in the top 5 concerts I've ever seen.
