At midnight, Prohibition ends in Illinois!!  And today (unlike all the other states that have become free) Gov. Pritzker signed the papers expunging something like 11,000 pot convictions made under oppressive old laws.  It's a beautiful thing!

As the new year approaches (2.5 hours to go) we are watching 12/31/78 closing of Winterland on the big screen - Senior Management and I figuratively wrestling for the volume control!  I am so appreciative of another year I've enjoyed the little respite from the rigors of "real life" that this club provides.  I wish every one of you, our hosts the Wickersham family, those who volunteer their time to keep things running smoothly, and especially my worldwide extended family of Alembic appreciators a most excellent and healthy New Year!

Echoing Bill's sentiments... I really enjoy my time in this space.

So; anybody make any personal resolutions? I'm not really big on making them... but this year if there was just one determination I'd resolve to focus my energy on, it's to get back in shape enough to go out and play music again. Whatever it takes... more Titanium parts, more anti-inflammatory meds, grease the Antheives, shoot... I'd do just about anything to get back out there and play. Get Healthy First.
