Fleetwood Mac's "anchorman" turns 80 today. At some point you realize you're just like a broken record, but I might not be here today, playing Alembic basses if not for John. A huge inspiration... for as long as I can remember. Even if I could never play it like he did, I still try to keep that 'play for the song' mindset in all things. Happy Birthday Johnny-Mac, many, many more.
