Rock's one and onliest rhythm guitar genius, the estimable Mr. Robert Hall Weir, is 78 years old today!


I don't have a favorite guitarist; too many greats in too many genres heard through too many moods.  It changes constantly.
But if the Guitar Genie popped out of my soundhole today and offered me the chops of any guitarist living or dead (or Dead.......), I would not hesitate to shout "Bob Weir, of course!"
