Thanks for posting this Pete ! I book marked it . Microphone education and identification was and still is a recording industry necessity.  My teacher Leo De Gar Kulka held that at high importance.

The site is a sad reminder to me of several mics that grew legs and walked away.... Luckily the disclaimer doesn't warn against copying and pasting photos to the back of milk cartons!
