Thanks Paul, I had to look. 

Wearing shorts is a real sore subject over on TalkBass, but I wear 'em on gigs whenever I can. (meaning; when it is appropriate.) Obviously I wouldn't for a wedding, or formal for instance, but most of the time we're playing for a bunch of breweries and party type gigs... and it's often hotter than dad-gummit here in the Southeastern United States. (it's a Southeastern U.S. expression) 


Besides that, I figure if Weir and McVie got by with it...
