The World Guitar Show stops off for one of it's twice yearly visits to the Bay Area this weekend, Saturday and Sunday at the Marin Civic Center.  Literally 1000s of guitars and basses, sometimes even an Alembic or two!  I bought my '83 Electrum at the show a couple of years ago.  Other stuff too, amps, parts, straps (Alison from Moody usually has a booth), BIG fun!  I'll probably be there both days.  (I usually find an interesting instrument or two on Saturday, then come home, do my research, and go back Sunday to try to make a deal).  Anyone else going?  I'll most likely be wearing an Alembic shirt, so if you see a 6'2 graying, bearded guy obviously in the throes of a severe G.A.S. attack, come up and say hello! LOL

Oh boy I'm having some serious GAS right now. Sadly if I buy a plane ticket and blah, and blah... I.E. when I get there I won't have any money left to cure my GAS (it's getting smelly here)
