Oliver, if he did say anything about it, I don't remember.  My band would get to the bar, set up, and then play for three hours; so when he was there he would come up and tell me all these stories while I was setting up.  They were great stories and I wish we were just sitting around a table; so although I was listening to and enjoying all that he was telling me, I was also focused on getting my rig set up.  Usually the drummer and guitar player were waiting on me to finish so we could start playing.
