I didn't even know he sang! I know him as a keyboardist and bass player. At 86 years old, he sounds amazing. I saw Jefferson Starship at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago in 1979 on the Freedom at Point Zero tour. Mickey Thomas, Kantner, Chaquico, Pete Sears and Freiberg trading off on keys and bass, and Aynsley Dunbar on drums. Man, they kicked ass! TBH, I went to see the opener Rory Gallagher, but he cancelled at the last minute. So Paul came out, apologized, and said they would be playing an extra long set. It was an eye opener for 15 yo me.
