Hope all of the Texas Alembicians stay safe with that approaching storm!

Thanks! Will do Rob. Moved all the good wood to the mainland yesterday from Galveston. Looking to have a wet and windy weekend in Houston this weekend. We are ready for the Harvey Party. Cheers! :)

Yeah, that's a mean-looking storm... you guys be careful down there.

Batten down the hatches.
If you can help those that may need help.

Absolutely! Having been through a couple of hurricanes, we find there is no shortage of people stepping up to the plate, and helping out. There are a group of us that go around our neighborhood, and check on our elderly, and help people with fallen trees. They call us the "Texas Chainsaw Gang"  8)

Hope things go well for y'all. I've been through a few hurricanes and think the hardest part is the wait to be able to see what needs to be done after it passes. Your "Texas Chainsaw Gang" comment reminds me I have a few chains to sharpen as I'm down to one on the Husqvarna and none on the Stihl.

I like how on here "texas chainsaw gang" can be a good thing as opposed to a title to a slasher movie....

Hopefully any of our folks in Florida, or South Carolina are safe and sound... that Irma is a mean-looking storm headed your way now.  :o

Thoughts and prayers for the good people of Florida. Just as we are digging out here in Texas, I know the spirit of community will be just as strong there, as it was here. A good sign in Houston yesterday, was that I saw a little bird, and a butterfly. The wildlife is starting to rebuild to. Be safe!
