Can anyone tell me what that thing is currently selling on ebay is? It has a serial # and everything looks geuine, but the shape is NOT Alembic.

Hi Peter; if you are talking about the Epic with the modified upper horn, there is a discussion on this bass in the Seen on eBay and Other Sites section.

i read the posts on the 'discussion' thing. i still don't believe this is a genuine Alembic, especially from what Mica said. needless to say, this is one instrument i would definitely stay away from.
