Hopefully my good friends here can help me out...
 
Input jack has gone from occasionally loose to loose all the time...when I stick a cord in it immediately falls apart, basically...sound is intermittent. I could sort of hand tighten the nut before, but it's getting stripped or something...it's starting to just go around in a circle.

Perhaps , if you remove the plate on back you can hold the other side of the jack while you tighten it  from the front. You may want to use blue tape for protection on the front around the jack to protect from scratching with a wrench . An  offset box end or open end or  socket or a spin tight can work if you can do it with out scratching. Do not over tighten and damage the wood. Also check the threads on the jack for damage. be sure to check the soldered connections on the jack for damage and the contacts of the jack it's self.

Probably what's happening is that the metal bushing is spinning on the plastic jack body. You'll need to get a replacement from the Mothership, as long bushing jacks of the correct configuration are pretty much Unobtanium anywhere else.

Hmmm...sounds alarming. Is anyone even on staff this week?

A temporary repair to keep you playing as you wait for the part.
Get some PTFE thread tape and put a few wraps around the thread, this should keep the socket in place for the time being

If my diagnosis is correct and the bushing is spinning on the jack body, the Teflon tape won't help. Removing the old jack can sometimes be problematic in that case as well. If you haven't been able to contact Mica let me know--I've got some other contacts inside who can probably help. (Sometimes living adjacent to Santa Rosa and having worked at the Mothership for a bit comes in handy!)
