Thank you FC. Yes, the gentleman who sold me was very careful. It's almost in mint condition.
35" scale...

And I kid you not: Before this bass show up at e-bay I put on my "bucket list" this exactly Instrument and configuration - Alembic (my childhood dream), Essence (I love the shape) , 35" scale (hey, I'm big guy), electronics (the only Alembic I ever played was Europa and the tone was in my head for years).
So I think "Santa Claus" read my wish list..
