Any help with this would be great. I'm trying to figure out what the heck this is and if it's worth buying. I examined it myself and couldn't find a single distinguishing mark other than that little Alpha Omega graphic.

John,  Welcome to the Alembic forum.  As indicated in this thread in our Miscellaneous section the bass is not an Alembic instrument. Hope this helps.  Art

Definitely worth waiting and wanting.  There are lots of nice basses that pass through our  section.
