Hi everybody,
New member from Vancouver checking in. I'm pleased as punch to be able to join this group. I have just acquired my first (and hopefully not last) Alembic instrument, a 1986 Exploiter guitar. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Mica for her help in getting me here. I tried many times to log in, but always received the dreaded 403 Forbidden error on the webpage. She assured me that it would be looked into and voila! Here I am. Thanks for straightening it out.

I'm looking forward to learning a lot about Alembic and the fine folks that build and play these beautiful and unique instruments.

Rock on!

Congrats on the new guitar! My first Alembic was an Exploiter bass - great place to start!

Thanks for the warm welcome everybody. I'm learning a lot about Alembic, and I'm starting to realize just what a special and unique brand it is. Also, what a great little online community we have here. I'm looking forward to learning more and hopefully inching towards a custom build someday. Hey, a guy can hope!

To those that wanted to see some pics, here's a couple.
