I joined the club in the summer of 2014 to learn more about these beautiful instruments and to search for a good quality Alembic that could meet my budget.  It took some time to find, but the wait was worth it!  Here's my '89 Persuader with a beautiful coco bolo top.  It is so well taken care of, I'm blown away, and it will continue to be cared for by me.  I can't stop playing it!  Now I will begin my search for a good 5/6 string at a reasonable cost, i.e., probably a used Spoiler, Distillate, Essence, or even another

Good for you! Very nice and with a coco bolo top which is unusual for these models at least from what I have seen. Play it in good health.

Congratulations & Compliments frankfive. Finally, indeed... but it looks like it was worth every minute of the wait.

You should name that bass Lady-Luck. =)

Welcome!  That is one cool looking bass.
I used to think I was indecisive, but now I'm not so sure.

Wow - nice score.

Obviously worth the wait!

Congrats!

Score indeed!
There is that joy that washes over you when you open the case and take her out. Then you plug her in and start playing, twist this knob, twist that knob, move your plucking hand here and there and suddenly you find yourself aglow with that silly Alembic grin on your face.

Congratulations and welcome to the club!
