James; that sure is a pretty bass in those videos.  And the tone comes through nicely in the Funky Music clip.  And I guess the dancers in the Just the Way It Is video are a testimony to just how moving an experience seeing your band live must be!

Brother James,    I enjoyed the video's and clips too!!  When I'll be a grown up I'll learn to solo too!!!!    The pictures here are from the DRIVE-gig last week Monday during the "Nike Run" in Tessenderlo.  Not a very comfortable playing situation on a truck carrier. As soon that somebody moved the truck start rocking back and forward ...it really made you see-sick. GIven the fact that our music is "moving" ...oh ...euh ....that's not the way to put this but well ...you understand.    Paul TBO

Gosh ...am I the only gigging Alembic player??
Here is a picture of our open air thing in Kessel. It was freezing cold and it RAINED but ...well ...the show must go on!!!
Paul the bad one (dark and concentrated)

Paul, that's a sinister image! Looks like you're in some kind of dark metal band with everyone in the audience headbanging their brains out! To many people Alembics have that gothic look anyway, I have had several similar comments about mine. But the audience must have something nice to look at, wouldn't you agree? So where's the pretty girl singer in the voluptuous (sp?) ballroom dress?

Paul; I played last saturday night, but I didn't take a photographer with me .

Okay ...let's switch on the light. ***snap***

Hey ...you see ...with the lights on I'm even laughing a bit!!!!!!! HA!!! Now ...lemmee see ...how can I get our voluptuous Iris in that ballroom dress???  Dave ...the girlfriend of Yoeri (the big guitarplayer with the small guitar ...the other is the small guitarplayer with the big guitar what definitely means that size is relative huhuhuh...) always take her digital camera to gigs ... see?   Paul the bad one

We did another FunkeeStation gig at a Street Fair in Birmingham, Michigan on Saturday, July 24th.  Here's a couple pictures from that one....

Great pics james!!!,,,what is that five string thing sittin next to you?

malthumb

Keavin,

Actually that five string thing has six strings  .  It's my Hanewinckel 6 string fretless.  I used it on a couple tunes in our first set.

Hmmmmm.....not quite what I had in mind.I wish i could make the pic a little bigger without going over the limit. How are you other club members doing it?

David Houck

Dave, if you haven't already seen it, the following is posted in the gallery section.  Note a 150K maximum file size is allowed .. If your file is too large, try setting the resolution in the source file to 72 dpi and confine the longest edge to about 800 pixels.

The picture you posted is about 40K, so apparently you reduced it more than needed.

Hope that helps.
