Wow!  You sure are busy up there.  Very impressive.  Bass tone is great!

You need to change your user name to Kenbass, keys&pedals.
;D
I got a lot of compliments on the bass tone. My MK DLX has 3 position Q switches which gives me a lot of variety in sounds. My amp is a Mesa WD 800 which has great midrange control along with a high pass filter to keep from getting muddy down low.

So I just realized I've got an actual livestream coming up. Sunday, October 12th at 5PM eastern time. The Cyberiam live at ProgStock 2025 in Rutherford, NJ.

Here's some Instagram videos someone posted of our Oakland Ballers Grateful Dead Night gig last Friday.   You don't have to join Instagram to watch it.  Just click on the "X" on the top right of the opening box that asks for you to sign in or register.

Sounding good, Bill!
How did the airport gig go?

Here's your reminder Paul! It's been a little surreal here with some incredible progressive rock musicians hanging around. Then knowing I'll be playing in front of many of them on Sunday. I've had some great conversations with Dave Meros from Spock's Beard who is playing tonight with his newer band Pattern Seeking Animals. Ran into Brian Beller in the elevator this morning. He's playing with Mike Kennealy tomorrow afternoon. Michael Sadler of Saga and his son Seren are playing in between us and headliner Steve Hogarth from Marillion. Wee! Anyway... the live stream costs like 15 bucks and is not archived, so you would have to watch in real time which is 5-6:30 eastern time.

Thanks Tom!
Sadly we are in a financial tight spot and I can't justify any costs that isn't for essentials.

Have fun, the promo video looks cool and you are rubbing elbows with like minded folk! 👍🏼

No worries man, I get it!

Ran into the great Haley Griffiths this morning. Club member George Price plays in her solo band, but she was singing with IO Earth Friday night.

I saw Hayley and her band, including George Price a year or two ago. They were superb.

There was an overly long sound check before we were given access to the stage which set things back, then we had multiple technical issues, so we were completely stressed by showtime. Ultimately, we got through the set pretty well and were very well received. It was a super fun weekend. The production crew were outstanding.

BeenDown139

haven't posted up in a while 'cause we haven't played a show in a while.  in the meantime our kbd plyr put a mash-up demo video from our last show to shop around.   if nothing else it features variously the ebony amazon and the MKD playing those hits we all love  from the 80s

Been down...now i'm out!

That is a really nice demo.  You guys sound great -  should seek out some of those high paying corporate gigs.

Finished out my musical year at the Askenaz in Berkeley with Stu Allen and Mars Hotel Friday night. Stu's 404th Askenaz show,  every year he caps the year with a 3-night run there, first night acoustic guitar and acoustic bass duo playing material associated with the Jerry Garcia and John Kahn acoustic tours. Second night was Stu Allen and Reflections with a retrospective of Jerry Garcia Band material. Last night is always "good old" Grateful Dead with Mars Hotel. We played a fun, high energy show to a sold out crowd that kept us surrounded by love and good vibes. Such a great scene has developed at the Ashkenaz over the years and it always feels like home performing there.

Stu Allen and Mars Hotel-Ashkenaz Community Center, Berkeley, CA 12/12/25

Stu Allen-guitar, vocals
Matt Lazurus-guitar, vocals
Steven Sofranko-keyboards and vocals
Jerry Saracini-drums
Stephen Ramirez-bass

Here is a shot of me once again coping with an uncooperative back and ending up sitting for most of the show. I am going to post the vido links separately.
