It is, I had a break for about a couple of years though when there was a change of lineup and then returned as dep bass player in 2012 and got asked to hang on to the role.

Hi Jazzy.  Watching now on the big screen.  Very cool!   Tina (Senior Management) said you look grayer/greyer than when you visited those many years ago.  My response?   "So do we!"   She also likes your shirt.    So what are you plugging my guitar into?

Thanks Greg it was a good gig.  i decided overkill on the bass front and took my Redwood series  bass, which i was reliably told sounded huge FOH. Probably helped that i went back to using my Sf-2 again as my sole preamp for reggae gigs and gave the desk SF-2 out through my Radial Pro DI instead of direct off my bass.

Sounds (literally and figuratively) fabulous.  Giving the FOH such a refined sound should make their job simple.

I used to do that on some gigs before lockdown because we had many sound guys who didn't know how to live mix reggae music. Judging from the bands on before us, i made the right call as there as no weight in the drum and bass.
