I'm playing guitar on a gig next Saturday 18th March with Musical Youth.
I'll be taking my Orion guitar with me on this gig. Hopefully my fender Twin will be back from servicing so I can take it with me..

As much as I have my reservations about Butlins, I really enjoyed this gig last night.  Crowd was great, really responsive and the band played really well.
Dennis Seaton ( Original lead singer), is a great entertainer and really knows how to get the crowd on his side. I'm looking forward to the other shows I have with them during the year.

Oh yes, here is a picture of  my Orion Guitar. Fortunately the backline included a Fender Twin Amp so it was like home from home.

Left to right. Me on guitar, Skippa drums, Dennis Seaton Lead Vocals.

I used the overdrive channel on the amp for soloing rather than my Rat footpedal...... much nicer.

Jazzyvee,

That's a good-looking guitar if ever there was one.  Venue-provided backlines are a bit of a lottery, aren't they!  Glad the gig was fun.

Thanks for the compliments. I'm well pleased with the Orion guitar. I was quite fortunate that gig although I have to say that most of the gigs its either a Fender Twin, Roland JC120 or A Blues Deville.
I have asked for a Twin on the rider for this years touring. I'm more comfortable with the sound I can get out of it.
