Green Paint will be performing at Barnstock in Compton, IL this Saturday, Aug. 16 at 6 pm. We're the first band up (I like playing early) and doing a one hour set.  On August 1 & 2 I played at Rock n Roll Rewind in Dubuque, IA again. This year I only played with two bands, Hampton Road and Waterfall, but each played Friday and Saturday and are made up of many of the same players and singers (with a few additions). Hampton Road was my largest band to date with 12 performers: 5 horns, 3 singers and a 4 man rhythm section.

Later Friday evening I played in a short jam session to end the night:

Great pics Mike. You just need to stand a bit further forward. And dave's right.... very cool shirt. :-)

Thanks Graeme and Dave. The shirt was a gift from a former bandmate. Almost Smaug-like! ;)
Rock The Hub photos is Mark, an excellent photographer in Dubuque. He's got a Facebook page and shoots an incredible amount of beautiful images.

Here's a shot of Green Paint at Barnstock, a very old school vibe and a heck of a good time!
