I have to agree with your comment on the fingerboard but what is a guy to do? Mike, the Classico is a beautiful instrument and one I would love to buy myself someday with your money! Anyway I have to start preparing for two shows tonight, One dinner show and one late nighter so it is time to go warm up the back to lift equipment. The downside of being a bass player with no roadie.

Win the lottery, perhaps?  I keep toying with the notion of building one, and also building a bass pedal-steel guitar.  I've built a couple of basses in years past, and they turned out well enough, so maybe when I get a shop setup I'll try to crank out a few electric uprights for the gang.  Don't hold your breath though...
