On the bass, neck pickup only, mostly flat.  On the amp, drive is all the way up and treble is down a bit.  I'm trying to channel an old Precision through not nearly enough amp, and those settings seem to work.

I'm struggling with a friend's MM Jazz Bass on this.  It's always nice to be reminded why people nearly always get excited when they get to play the Alembic at these things.  Anyway, at least I'm still getting to play regularly.

And another. Interesting dynamic with this band. No rehearsal to speak of, but a couple of days before a gig someone will email a youtube link to something I'm unfamiliar with and we'll just kind of wing-it when the time comes. Sometimes it's a train wreck and other times it's almost brilliant. At any rate, even though we're not going to win any awards, I'm enjoying being along for the ride with these people who are about half my age.
