Well, Im still in, and I still plan on bringing a KB player, and possibly a guitar player.  
 
I'll be bring a SCSD, a SII, and a skylark.  Also a camera.   If anyone has any extra stands they could bring that'd be great.

Got great news. Heard back from Mica today and the part is on the way. So it looks like my F-1X will live on which is such a relief. I like the Sansamp preamps for adding some tone options, especially the overdrive for that Geddy Lee sound but I really prefer the system to built around the Alembic preamp. The people at Alembic are the best just like the works of art they produce so that we can play the best instruments available.
So I'd like to apologize if my previous post sounded a little negative. Just having a really bad week pain wise. I won't have the part in time for the get together but thats O.K. I'm really only going to be able to participate as a spectator this year. But I will have my 2 Basses with me for the group picture and to show everyone. I hope to be able to play by next years event. But still looking forward to meeting everyone and hearing some great Bass playing and seeing everybody's Alembic's.
I would also like to thank Mica for the time she spent helping me troubleshoot the problem over the phone and on getting the part on its way.
I don't know of any other company that makes such great products and also stands behind them and gives you that kind of support if there is a problem.

I'm in Parsippany, right now!  Just got here about a half hour ago.  I'm going to hit NYC, tomorrow.  Are there any members from NYC that would like to/are available to meet up?  I'm leaving my basses, here, at the Hotel, but I haven't ever been to NYC, so I'm pretty excited about doing the grand tour...  
I'm at the Hampton Inn, in Parsippany, by the way.  I'll check my email to see if anyone from NYC gets back to me.  Either way, I'm all set for Saturday, and really looking forward to jamming and meeting everyone!

I will do my level best!  If you see a crazy guy with long hair on Letterman, tonight, that's probably me!

My bad, Letterman tapes on Thursdays, as I found to my chagrin.  We got invited to a taping of a Comedy Central show with Saturday Night Live Comedians, but unfortunately had to pass as we were due back at the Hotel to meet with my wife's friend at a certain time...  
 
Ironically, when I got back to the hotel, lo and behold, there was a message from Harold, leaving his number, which I was going to go back and try to find in a previous e-mail, so he saved me all the trouble.  And he said he was staying at the Hampton!  
 
I called Harold, and he said he was about a half hour away, and when he showed up, I was in the lobby, playing my Alembic.  He had just called me, then he looked over, and saw me, and we both laughed, it was cool!
 
Harold proceeded to introduce me to his wife, Debbie, who is very cool, as well.  He allowed me the privilege of checking out his Series II 4 String, which was awesome- I'm more stoked for tomorrow, than ever!
