Roanoke Mini-Meetup 11/13/18

Drove up to Roanoke today and spent the afternoon with Gregory.  We had a wonderful visit, talked a lot of music, and I got a tour of his shop.  It was good to see him doing so well.  The time flew by, and before we knew it, it was time to drive back to Asheville.  Here's the evidence:

Most times, when the forum Moderator makes a personal visit to your house, it means you're in serious trouble.

Not always so... It was a great time yesterday! Dave is even more thoughtful and engaging in person than here in our electronic living room, and the afternoon just flew by chatting Alembics, music, and life lived in general. Before he, and his charming bride-along companion headed home to Carolina, I was just saying how much I enjoy this little place here. Several of you I communicate with off the boards, and interact with on here daily, in almost five years I've never had a bad experience once.

Hope to meet up with some more of you sometime!
