Mica & Family!

In the pic directly above, I'm holding John Ford's Series. John has it strung with flats. Odd feeling at first, but a VERY nice bass to play. Then again, all of them were.

If it's the same one I played Mike, I loved it. Very cool Jazzy sound to it and very easy to play. I think he said he had Fender Flat wounds on it. Of course I could be wrong about that.

Thanks guys.  Yep, Fender flatwounds.  I don't recall which ones, but they were cheap cheap cheap.  I think $17 a set or something obscene like that.
 
Who owns the zebrawood Distillate we flogged all day long?  That was a hoot to play!
 
I wish I'd played the Stanley, but then my wallet and wife are relieved I didn't.

That was my Distillate, and she loved every minute of it!
 
Unfortunately I DID play the Stanley Signature bass.... PLUS I fell in love with those Bag Ends.
