Yeah, Kenn. We probably are less than a mile apart. I'm sure we have many mutual musical acquaintances, too. My daughter used to work at Perry's in Narragansett when she was in college. She turned me on to Violin River, and gave me your business card. I guess she was friendly with the singer and her husband. It's a small world. Anyway, I've been a big fan ever since!

Dlbydgtl,  your bass is one that has stayed in my mind as particularly outstanding. I've been seriously impressed by the look of this bass since it appeared in the custom of the month.

I do have a preference for darker wood alembics and madagascar ebony among with coco bolo is one of my favourites.

First 2 are from a 60's themed Birthday Party the 3rd was at a local Convention center Healing Mass. Funny how little pics I have of myself.

Bill,
The sound system belongs to the guitarist and I didn't get a good look at it. No time this was a surprise party and we barely had time to get a song list together.  
 Both gigs were completely different 1 with long sustained notes and tones and the other freewheeling fun. Each rewarding in themselves.
