I spy a Fenderbird.

The smoke effect is cool.

Cool photo, Stefano, nice looking bass as well :)

"Bet you felt the bass with those speakers too!  :) "

Haha, yeah! I like the bass loud, and playing in a Who tribute band, nobody complains about it.  ;D My favorite with these guys is my '71 Ampeg BT-140 2x15 cab with JBL D140s. But I'd asked some friends that have played that venue, and was warned about a tricky little staircase to get on stage, so I brought my custom built (by me) combo with a JBL K140 and an old TL-606 cab with an EVM15L stacked on top. Run off of an Ampeg SVT III Pro.

Yup! Someone gave me the body back around 2005, and I eventually acquired parts and pieces to complete it about 2 years later. It's slightly crude, but sounds great with Gibson TB+ pickups. And it's a real conversation piece.

Stefano, nice shot. Good to see Alembics in the wild!

Finally getting around to share a few interesting shots... a few month back, my band, Fleetwood Mask, was asked to launch a fundraiser at the Sausalito Record Factory Studio, formerly known as the Sausalito Record Plant.  Lots of SF Bay Area rock royalty recorded there... Fleetwood Mac, Santana, Metallica, Van Morrison, Stevie Wonder, Grateful Dead, etc.   We set up in Studio B, I had a showcase of John McVie's amps and instruments, and I have 3 Alembics... 73 Series 1 SN43, Continuously fretted Series 2, and the Penguin Porpoise bass.   The Lakland was McVie's main stage guitar from 2009 - 2019, along with that rack of Orange and Ampeg amps and cabinets.   Good Times in NorCal...

Cool shots. Was this a paid public fundraiser?

QuoteI don't think I posted this pic from February, but I ran across it the other day and thought it was worth sharing. Hobart Art Theater in Indiana.

Been down...now i'm out!

I'm not playing it in the pic, but I was a few moments before, and I like the way the Tahoe t-shirt colors match the bass!

From the maiden gig of "Dead Enough" last month.   Also color coordinated guitar/shirt.   I'm playing a guitar I put together with an old Modulus Blackknife neck, Flame Koa over Black Korina Warmoth body, and Alembic Strat set PUs and electronics with added Q-switch.
