Here is one my other half took a while ago when I was "practicing". I guess this means I was on my Dream Gig.!

Nice picture Jazzy. I seem to remember in the opening chapter of Victor Wooten's book, "The Music Lesson" he had fallen asleep while practicing on the sofa... perhaps you are onto something there.  :D

I do that all the time. That's why I never get better. I sleep more than practice ;)

Brief thread hijack... since I brought it up; Vic's book is a highly recommended read. It's from a while back, (2008) but I really got a lot out of it.

In keeping with the picture theme, here's one from a Saturday morning practice session. I listen to a Saturday morning radio program about gardening at 6am, (from the sofa!) then I practice a while. Sometimes I record with the phone... this is a still from earlier this year when I was learning a September 1977 version of "Peggy-O" on #77-621.

Haven't posted on here for a while so here's a shot from a recent One One Seven gig I played at the Vortex Lounge in Cumbernauld (about midway between Glasgow and Edinburgh). We used their backline and kit for the gig so no big Mesa boxes behind me but the Signature Deluxe sounded fantastic anyway.
For an extra treat here's a link to a few of our own tunes recorded last year..

From a party we played Friday night... Series I silhouette, caught by the backline cam.

One of the caterers happened to be a guitar player, and asked- what was that bass I was playing, as he had never seen or heard anything like it... the crystalline highs but thunderous lows too. I just smiled, and told the story, (the shorter version) and made sure he knew they made guitars too.

It is always a pleasure when a discerning eye/ear recognizes the craftsmanship from the Mothership.

One of the guys who subs with Harwell-Grice Band sent me this one earlier today... it's from a gig we played on a floating boat dock a little while back. Me and my first Alembic, 89P5559, a Persuader five-string the folks at Alembic HQ helped me put back in proper order a few years ago. She's still a regular go-to.

Very cool. That is my favorite photo in this entire thread!
