rock,
Damned if I know where Hanson, Mass is but I'm right across the Hudson River from Albany, NY and would be more than happy to meet you at the local Guitar Center (heh heh) and let you try out my Series 2 if you happen to be in town. I can't be held responsible for how you feel walking away from that experience, though. ;)
More power to you for playing that benefit, I miss being able to do good for my fellow man like that. Play well, and have somebody snap pics!

Hey Shawn, thanks for the offer. I'm originally from Watertown, NY and my brother has a house in Lodi, NY. I do not get out that way much but if I do I will be sure to send you an email. By the way Hanson is 25 miles south of Boston, About half way between Boston and Cape Cod.

The more I play my Epics, the more I love them. I love the tone, the way they play, the size and shape. I am not a very big guy (5'10). I like the fact that the Epic is a little smaller than say a Stingray or Jazz bass but still has that killer Alembic tone. Although I still love my '76 Precision. I really like the support that I have received from the Alembic community. I feel like I have been welcomed into the family. What can I say, I'm sold on Alembic! Thanks all!

Cape Cod, eh? Familiar with the illustrious Karl Hoyt by any chance?
Wait  'til you try a Series...hee hee. The poor boy.  ;)
I've been too busy to play mine for weeks, but hauled her out of her case and went crazy for two and a half hours last night...with the TI flats, the depth is unbelievable.
