Can anyone tell me if the battery in my anniversary equiped BB will continue to drain if I leave the cord plugged in but with the PU selector switch in the off position?

The most counter-clockwise rotation of the pickup selector switch is actually stand-by, not off. It has the same function as if you had turned the volumes down, and your battery continues to drain as long as the cord is plugged in.
