I'm buying a new instrument soon and I'm considering a used Alembic of some type. If anyone is trying to sell their Orion guitar, let me know. My price ceiling is $1500.

I want it too, but the price is more than I wanna spend, unfortunately...my loss. Orion's are pretty hard to come by, especially guitar versions.

I've seen Jonathan's Orion before and it is a beautiful instrument. I've got some gear to sell before I buy; heaven knows what might happen!

Well, you could do much worse than Jon's axe. It's a nice piece and Dr. Jonathan is a class-act! Hopefully, someone deserving will give that one a good home.

Yes Orions I haven't seen many orions up for sale and it took me over a year to find one. But they are well worth the wait.
I was fortunate to an unused, unsold Orion that had been sold by Alembic to a shop in Germany 10 years ago.
I got it last week and it's in mint condition.

I found a guitar, though it's not an Alembic-that'll have to wait for a later date.
