Billy- Don't get me wrong the guitar meets all the standards.  It's overall tone is on the high end.  Through several different amp set ups, I can't get the mellow sound I need.  I think it would be incredible for slide, but I don't play much.  It is mint and officially for sale.  E-mail questions, I have pictures......Mooch

An Electrum will have the same tone, right? Activators are Activators regardless of the shape.
 
BTW...what finish is your Skylark? I would love to see some photos.

Ah, I see, Mooch!  Thanks for the reply, and good luck chasing your tone!  The journey's half the fun!  

Sean - Electrum is a neck through body, Skylark is semi hollow with a set neck.  Tones are very different.  Skylark top is flame maple,neck maple with walnut accent, back is mahogony, headstock is ebony veneer, side red LED's.  She's a beauty......Mooch
