You might want to consider providing photos or a link to the earlier posting on the basis of which you made your purchase.

Some basic info like scale length would also help.

Josh sent me a picture of the bass, it is indeed the same one. Quite pretty.

That's an awesome bass that checks almost all the boxes for me, but I have the same problem - I can't do that tight string spacing. 16.5mm is about as tight as I can comfortably go.

I have the opposite problem on my Epic 5, I am used to very narrow spacing coming from mostly Peavey's and I find the ~19mm? spacing on Epic to be a challenge
